New! New! New! Now there are three! Welcome To Reader's Paradise!

Sunset, Port Vila, Vanuatu, Summer 2005 Looking for something new and different to read? Well, then, my friend, you've arrived in paradise. No, I've never been published. Yes, I'm a frustrated novelist/playwright/occasional poet. No, I'm not charging anything for my downloads (but yes, you can send a donation if you like). My novels and screenplays generally contain at least an element of fantasy. The language can be quite earthy and I try to create colorful characters. I often explore the nature of reality and/or god and/or George Bush in at least part of the work, and damn it, I try and not take it all too seriously along the way. That is, I try to make it funny. Thank you for visiting my site. If you like my work, by all means, please tell your friends and link to my site. I will link to yours if you ask me to! Please visit my links page!!! And if you happen to be or have a friend who is a literary agent, director, producer, or major/minor Hollywood star jonesing for something new and bold to read/promote/buy please tell him about my work and my site. Unless you didn't like my work. Then just shut yo' mouf, OK?. Download My Work (pdf format): Novel: Armenian Blue, Seven Angels (first three chapters). Screenplays: Coma, Spirits of Al Rabbad, Surrogate Life (coming soon), The Final Crusade (coming soon). Collected Poetry (also coming soon). Want to know a bit more about my work? | What d'ya wanna know? OK, I was born in Tennessee when JFK was president. I'm not related to Davy Crockett, Jed Clampett, Li'l Abner, Jeff Foxworthy, or any other stereotypical personages, real or fictitious. I hate it when people make jokes about hillbillies. I hate it when they say my accent is cute. I really hate it when they make awkward attempts to imitate an East Tennessee accent. I never saw anything, went anywhere or did anything until I left the tiny burgh of Rockwood in East Tennessee to go to college. Oh, one time I did live briefly in Albany, Georgia (which I only mention because Ray Charles was born there). When I was a small kid, I didn't even know there was anything outside of Rockwood. I think I was about 5 when I realized that the world didn't pretty much end just beyond the five-and-dime on Gateway Avenue. For those of you too young to remember, a five-and-dime is kind of like Wal-Mart ... but much smaller and without the oppressive, soul-destroying corporate structure. Since university, I've been around the world. No, I ain't been everywhere, but I've seen my share. I studied in Germany, lived in the South Pacific and Hungary, worked in Saudi Arabia and Armenia. Right now, me and the family are living in beautiful Bratislava, Slovakia. My wife is gorgeous, intelligent and Armenian, and I have two super kids who drive me crazy and whom I love with all my heart and who give meaning to my life. My plans for the future are to write until I die. I hope that someday I get published. Red coral and sky, Vanuatu, 2006 If you want to comment about my work, I am very happy to listen.
